Lethal Cosmetics Memento Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Memento

Lethal Cosmetics Memento 6-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($27.00 for 0.34 oz.) includes six new eyeshadows, which are part of the brand’s single range, so each can be purchased individually ($6 to $7 each) or as a pre-made palette (as shown here). Two shimmers were fantastic, while the mattes were a bit sheer or powdery, and one shimmer was better applied with a fingertip.

Inhabit

Inhabit is a pale, buttery yellow with subtle, warm undertones and warmer, iridescent pink shimmer and sparkle. The texture was moderately emollient, while the shimmer seemed chunkier, resulting in a slightly uneven, thicker product when applied to my skin. I had a smoother, more even result when I applied this shade using a fingertip or a dampened brush. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours on me.

Formula Overview

$6.00/0.06 oz. – $100.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have “extreme pigmentation” and “effortless blendability”… “that [will] last all day.” There are two primary finishes: mattes and metallics, and the latter can also be used wet. The matte finish has semi-opaque to opaque color coverage with moderate powderiness; it’s a formula best used with a lighter hand. There was light fallout with some shades, though not at all, and they were blendable for the most part. Even with a soft hand, there was still a bit of powderiness present–the brand did warn about using less with their formula–in the pan.
